Video Bookings and Reserve Materials UPDATE!

Our Video Booking/Reserve Technician position is currently vacant and tasks are being handled by part-time staff. Follow the instructions below in order to have your reserves material and video bookings processed in a timely manner. Question about reserves or video bookings? Call the Check Out Desk at 992-2504.

Only items submitted on or before September 15th will be ready for student use when classes begin. Allow 3 weekdays minimum to process materials.

To place items on course reserve in Cannell Library or Information Commons @ CTC Campus:

  • Bring the reserve material with form(s) to Cannell Library or Information Commons at CTC.

To place items on electronic reserve:

For journal articles or copied materials the “Course Documents” section of Blackboard course modules is now being used to store materials. Contact Access Services Specialist, Connie Anderson at 992-6137 for assistance with uploading materials or to obtain persistent links to database articles. It is not necessary to print and scan articles from library databases.

Vido Bookings:

The library has over 1,500 videos and DVDs which may be used in the classroom and can be delivered to your Clark College mailbox! We encourage faculty to book videos well in advance to ensure availability and reduce scheduling conflicts. Allow a minimum of 7 days to process items for delivery to CCW, TPC, or CTC locations and 3 days advance notice for delivery to central campus via college courier and mail system.

Meeting with Staff during the Quarter Break:

The library will be closed starting August 20th and will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on September 20th. During the break faculty and staff may gain entrance to the library by calling 992-2504. To meet with a particular person , please call ahead to make sure the person is available.
