The week of November 13th-19th is recognized as Transgender Awareness Week. The following day, November 20th, is Transgender Day of Remembrance. According to GLAAD, Transgender Awareness Week brings attention to the trans community and the issues that they face, while Trans Day of Remembrance is a tribute to transgender people who were killed due to anti-trans violence each year. Clark College Libraries recognizes the importance of this week and created this collection of resources to share about trans people and the trans community.<\/p>\n
