The Great Big Post of Instructional Content

Two bags and two tubs of model body parts

Hey Instructors! You want it? We got it!

That is, if “It” is:

Say Hello to Bert and Ernie!

Our new friends come with removable organs, and interiors painted with major blood vessels and muscles. Clark students are welcome to borrow them-in library by checking out their handy-dandy body bags. If flesh isn’t what you need, Horatio is hiding in our bone boxes — 2, 20-piece manipulative sets of 3D study aids. During Fall term which begins September 22nd, Cannell library remains open until 7pm, making it a haven for evening student study needs when other buildings are closed.

What’s a Subject Liaison?

Did you know each field of instruction at Clark has a librarian assigned to them? Whenever you want to make a suggestion to the collection, or receive recommendations for accessible content for particular lessons, your subject liaison will be there to help! Our librarians are also full of information for students looking for citation help…

What’s This About Baking Equipment?

Do you want your future-chef, future-baker, food-service-extraordinaire to have access to a slew of baking supplies? We do too! That’s why students in Clark’s Culinary Institute are welcome to come and borrow bread pans, cake tins, gingerbread house kits, and cast iron pans. That, and the shelf full of cookbooks ought to keep them busy for a while.

Course Reserves? Huh?

Instructors with an extra copy of their required text may consider placing that copy here at the library for students to borrow! In recent years, we’ve seen a resurgence in desire for physical textbook options, but sometimes the burden of buying a text is too much. An instructor who’d like to make their text accessible here at the library should Fill Out This Form, or email us at ccl@clark.edu. Then, bring your book to Cannell, and keep an eye on your email when term comes to an end. That’s it! For the curious, more information can be found here.
