So You Want to Talk About Race

Clark College Libraries, in partnership with the Teaching & Learning Center and Office of Diversity & Equity, are pleased to present a screening of the Google Talk by Ijeoma Oluo, based on her book So You Want to Talk About Race.

A screening of Oluo discussing her work is scheduled for:

Wednesday, February 20
Foster Hall Auditorium (FHL 126)
2-4 pm

The screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion.

The Library also has three copies of the book to give away to attendees!

From the Google Talk description: “Ijeoma Oluo is one of the most influential people in Seattle, according to Seattle Magazine. She’s also the Editor-At-Large at The Establishment – a media platform run and funded by women. In her new book ‘So you want to talk about race’, she demonstrates that her remarkable writing abilities by bringing clarity and insight to hyper-charged issues facing America.

She discusses why it’s so hard to talk about race and why we must do it anyway.”
