A Crowd Favorite: Gale Virtual Reference Library

The Gale Virtual Reference Homepage shows a search box, a list topics under "Browse Collections," and three Art book covers at the top of the page.

If you’re looking up information for a class assignment, chances are Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) is a good place to start. This database provides reference materials (think subject-specific encyclopedias, handbooks, almanacs, etc.) on a wide variety of topics including science, literature, medicine, business, and multicultural studies. You can search all of the ebooks at once for your topic, or browse through the collections.

You’ll need to log in to access GVRL using your Clark username and password. For students, that’s your Clark Lab Account. For Clark employees, that’s your Clark email username and password. Refer to our login help page for more information on that.
