High Five a Librarian Day
November 18th is High Five a Librarian Day (please ask first).
Why would you want to high five a librarian? Well, here are a few reasons!
- Librarians want you to have the information you need! Use our library website to search the library catalog or find databases with relevant information.
- Librarians want to help you! Come visit us at the Ask A Librarian Desk and ask your research questions – how to find credible sources for your paper, how to create citations, how to answer that question that’s been bothering you since the summer. Can’t visit us during open hours? Use our 24/7 Librarian Chat service, staffed by real librarians!
- Librarians want you to be successful! Join us in the library for Snack and Study, the annual Week 11 event where the Tutoring Center moves into the library and provides tutors, snacks, and workshops.
- Librarians put helpful information together in one place! Like our Citing Sources guide, our Information Evaluation guide, and our Political Science and Civic Engagement guide
- Librarians rule!
Be sure to take advantage of all these resources as we head into the second half of the quarter!
