Search the Popular Reading Collection

Want to know if we have that one John Grisham or Chicken Soup For the Nurse’s Soul that you saw on our Popular Reading cart last week? A search for those keywords might bring up pages and pages of results from all over the library. However, you can now get the answers more quickly — just limit your search to the Popular Reading location and click the “Search” button.

Popular Reading isn’t the only location you can search. Click on the little down arrow in the white “All Locations” box and limit your search to reference, e-books, periodicals, DVDs, and more.

Curious about the Popular Reading collection? It was started in summer 2011 by librarian Joan Carey to give students and faculty a “study break” selection of current fiction and non-fiction. It quickly outgrew its original shelf and now also occupies a cart in the center of the first floor. The books are requestable and check out for three weeks with two renewals. All genres are represented, including Western, Romance, Mystery, and Sci-Fi. Check it out!
